Today is a red letter day!!!!

That's right - not only is my wifey pg, but my DS took his first steps today!!! I was so worried I'd miss it, but (unless DH hasn't shared something with me) I got to see them this evening! I squealed a little bit, I will not lie. Truly, a red letter day.

Awww, what a wonderful day!

We always made a pact in our family.....if DS did something that was his first, we never told each other. That way, even if it wasn't the first first, it was our first. So it may not be entirely true, but I saw his first crawl, the first time he stood up, the first time we walked, etc. the ONLY one DH couldn't keep in was his first word. I was on a business trip and he was practicing daddy with him.....yeah, he got it down real quick and he was screaming DADADADADA for an hour while I talked to him on the phone, hahaha! It made me cry though since it wasn't mamama, but Brooke's in training early now.
