Poor little guy. My sister is allergic to a billion things and DH has allergies to shellfish and pecans. I had stayed away from my beloved peanut butter just in case, but I made the mistake of eating a salad that had candied pecans in it.
Now DS has an awful rash on his face and arms. He was also terribly fussy and we had to give him gas meds to calm down.
He is also allergic to any and all perfumes and dryer sheets. He can't even use the free and clear kind, so everyone is walking around conducting electricity in our house!
Re: DS has nut allergies
awww
Poor little guy! Get him tested when he's older--just to be sure. Wouldn't want him running around thinking he's allergic to nuts if he outgrows it.
You can eliminate the static electricity in your laundry w/ vinegar. Just add 1/4 cup of regular white vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser in your washer. Works like a charm!
Good to know!
Yeah, we always knew that we would have to have him tested. My sister is allergic to everything and had terrible issues as a child, but she outgrew most of them by the time she was in highschool. Hopefully DS won't have those issues!
No problem! It also makes clothes soft. DS and I have really, really sensitive skin so I use Charlies soap and vinegar. Love it! And cheap! And appeals to the earth momma in me! We're also going to have to have DS tested for allergies when he's older
All we know for sure right now is milk, cassin, whey, and soy, which he should outgrow. But we suspect there's more b/c my breast milk made him sick from day one--even with the elimination diet. Poor little dude!
You could use Calben soap and products for allergies
