I hate my new job =(

I wish I didn't accept it.  I was a toddler teacher before I had ds and left to be a stay at home mom.  We need some extra money, so I started looking for part time nanny positions.  My old boss offered me a part time position and since nothing else had come up yet, I took it.  It is only 2 days a week, but it is not close to home.  It is 45 minutes away and after a week I am realizing that means over an hour with traffic.  When I am there, I am just waiting for the day to end.  I have no connection with the other teachers I work with who are much younger.  A lot has changed since I worked there before.

I now wish I had stuck it out and kept looking for a job closer.  Now I feel stuck at a place I do not want to work at.

Oh, hugs.  I hope it gets better.  I am sure it is extra hard being early in pg too.

Try to make your drive a happy time (books on tape, favorite toons, something) so that the drive becomes some 'you time' instead of just a waste of time.

Hugs..  Keep looking for another job.  You do not have to stay in a job you don't like.  You are responsible for your own destiny and don't have to punish yourself for making one bad decision by sticking with something that erodes your happiness and desire to work.

just the drive alone would not make me feel obligated.   it can be your for now job?  until you finf something else.
