Clothespins?

DH finally got my clothes line back up today after taking it down to build the deck. But I need all new clothes pins. The ones I have out on it were just the cheapo wood ones from the Dollar Store. They are like splintering and the metal is getting rusty. After only 4 months or so....

So is there some better clothes pins or do you just bring them in and out each time you do laundry?

Re: Clothespins?

  • my mom had a hanging bag that she kept in the garage and would take out with her to the line whenever she went, then as she took clothes down she'd dump them back in there and then stick it back in the garage. seemed to keep them good longer.

  • i have some wooden ones (not sure where from). when i used an outside line, i just brought them in each time. ?they have lasted me over a year.?
  • I got a bunch from Target and they are working great.  Some did get discolored a little but they still work well.

  • I bring them in each time.  I have a clothespin apron that is basically a big pocket, so they're easy to get to.
