Soooooooooo... I'm Simplifying My Diaper Stash

It feels so weird to say that!

I have diapers that are adorable, well made, ect, that I never use because Saxton's bum prefers to breathe a lot.

I bought just over 2 dozen flats over a month ago, and am literally reaching for them the most. 

I'm looking at parting w/ the 2 of the 3 Peas and Carrots pockets that I hate (I turned the one I am keeping into a swim diaper), a Zaichiki Baby stuffable prefold that DH (& Glad agreed) said is girly, an Olive Jane Cover, a couple GoodMamas, a too big Bummis Whisper Wrap, a Lovey Bums fitted, possibly my B4, and a couple other random diapers.

I've just found that wool and flats/prefolds/some fitteds work the happiest for us.  I'm keeping the BG OS O AIOs, and the BB pockets for Daddy/sitter/grandma/diaper bag convience.

This just feels weird to part w/ some of them  =/

I am rethinking our stash and the stash to build for the next baby.  I definitely think prefolds/covers and BG will be what I go with.  Fitteds just don't impress me much.  I am selling them with pretty good luck on my local craigslist.

I love my fitteds.  Just some work better than others.  It's mostly the PUL that I need to part with & anything w/ MF inside.

I know the feeling. ?I would be destashing more, I think. ?But being on baby 1, and not a later baby, I am just going to hang on to them.

I think flats are way underrated.  But we all knew that already.

I'm needing to destash about half of our stash. I just don't need an entire 4 drawer dresser full of diapers! But I'm having the hardest time. I figured the easiest place would be the newborn diapers that she is on the verge of outgrowing and I STILL can't seem to put them in the sell pile.

I think I may try Craigslist this time though. It's just a huge pain for me to pack everything up and bring it to work to get to the post office. I may try craigslist this time first....

I'm with ya! I'm selling off everything we own that isn't a PF or cover that fits DD or GN for the new baby. Her bum is just too sensitive to anything other than basic cotton.
