Sorry. That really blows, for some reason though I don't think injections are as bad as the finger sticks. Am I wrong? I have this terrible phobia of fingers sticks from some sort of childhood trauma. I would make an awful diabetic.

Actually, you are right. Though the finger stick technology has gotten a bit better, sometimes you don't even feel it.
For some reason just the thought of sticking my finger makes me shudder, which makes me especially apologetic when I have to do it to someone else. I am pretty sure patients think I am crazy.
