discharge... TMI im sorry lol

Okay, this is totally gross so im sorry TMI warning... i want to make sure what i have is normal and not an infection or something.... i have no itching and no burning, but around 28 weeks my discharge got a little thicker, like once a day or so if i wipe a small stringy glob comes out, looks like snot almost but its whitish/clear... its always smaller than a dime but bigger than a pencil eraser... and never bloody or anything.  Books dont get into enough detail and just say if its clumpy its a problem, but they dont get gross enough to atcually be helpful lol so if anyone knows what the heck im talking abouty i would LOVE the help, im a bit nervous! thanks!   im 30 weeks now btw.

I say ask on 3rd tri or call your doctor.

We like to call that the pregnancy snail trail.  I had it and everything was fine.  If you are concerned ask your OB or on call nurse. GL.

Yes I get globs.  I remember from my first pregnancy and its already happened this pregnancy!

I would venture to say it might be your MP. While they can be lost & regenerate, most Drs want to be notified if you lose it pre-term.

On all my d/c teaching for PTL precautions for triage patients, it states to call the OB for increased vaginal discharge.
