So far today, I have enjoyed a breakfast of dry toast and 7up, gotten stuck by a biotch who decided to ignore me when I said, "Oh, you'll have to use this vein", and am already swamped at the crack shack.

    Ouch on getting stuck. Some med student tried doing mine when I was in the hospital and it hurt so bad. I screamed at her and she left...never saw her again.  :)

    Boo for getting stuck. My first Beta stuck me three times. My second only stuck me twice but got it out of my hand which hurt like hades. Stupid flobotomists or whatever the heck you call them.

    I think there is a 2 stick rule in NC but they didn't have anyone else there either morning so it was either come back later or let her stick me a third time so I gritted my teeth and dealt with it.

    I tried to tell the woman that the best place to get blood from me was my forearm.  She did not listen.  She said she didn't know how to take blood from there.  Um, what?

    I hate Mondays, no matter what.  Yuck to your breakfast.  Get used to it, unfortunately.    Ah, the joys!

    It took them 4 times in the hospital to get my IV in, and it ended up in my hand.

    Buck, it's PH. I don't wanna try spelling the rest of it, but I know it starts with ph, lol.
