Need some help from GA

Hi everyone, My husband is in Medical School and exactly two weeks from today he needs to do a one month rotation in Augusta GA. Does anyone have any suggestions for me as to where he should rent/stay? Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!

If he's only going to stay a month I'd look into either The Partrige Inn (but might be a little pricey) or there is a Candlewood Suites on Claussen Rd. that is decent.  I would NOT stay in any of the hotels right by MCG--they're more "pay by the hour" if you get my drift   There is also a nice Marriott Riverwalk that would be a good choice. 

I doubt many apartment complexes rent for one month at a time but I know that MCG has a housing department and they might could recommend a place.  I live here in Augusta so please feel free to page me with any questions

I had to travel to Augusta quite a bit in my previous job, and I always stayed at the Homewood Suites off Stevens Creek Road. I am not sure how far it is from MCG, but the rooms are all suites, so very spacious. The rooms all have small kitchenettes and full size refrigerators, which is nice if you are staying for a while. Eating out every meal gets old.

Ditto the Homewood Suites on Stevens Creek if it's still there.  The Candlewood Suites I rec'd is right down from that hotel.
