so one of you lovely ladies posted Paula Dean's recipe for Gooey Pumpkin Squares about a week ago...perhaps it was Lambie?

Anyhoo - I went to TWO Stop & Shops today & looked all over. They are both sold out of effing Pumpkin Pie Filling.

WTF. I was looking forward to the gooey-ness.

I always try looking in with the canned vegetables and then realize it's over by the baking stuff. Every. Single. Year.

We make our own every year.  We always buy an extra pumpkin, steam it and throw it in the food processor.  I make pumpkin bread and pumpkin pies with it.  This year I think we will use it for Christopher's dinner too.
