Carter had an outbreak of chickenpox in his daycare class two weeks ago. I though we were in the clear as he hadn't gotten it. Tonight we had my whole work team over along with 7 of their 10 kids. Since it was raining all the kids were crammed in my living room playing really close.

Well everyone leaves about 7:30 and we give DS a bath... and he has spots on his back. After super close examination it looks like he is starting to get little zit looking things on his face.

I guess we'll know tomorrow morning for sure... but it looks like I just exposed all of my coworkers children to chicken pox. SUPER.

Ooops. It does sound like it though. Hope it goes by fast and he isn't to bothered by them.

That stinks.  BUT at least it's one less vaccine he'll have to get because he'll have the natural immunity now...

As long as it was mild, I wish Emerson would get them and have it over with instead of having to have a vax every five years for the rest of her life.

Looks like your boss is going to be giving lots time off in the next couple of weeks. lol-

if it is chicken pox, it should spread/they should sprout up within the next few hours. ds had the zit looking things, but it wasn't the pox and he has been exposed to them in daycare. fwiw, i wish he would just get them already. his pedi is even going to do a test to see if he has an immunity

Oops.  Hopefully most of your coworkers' kids have had the vaccine or the disease.  Hope your LO just has a mild case- for your sake and his.
