I totally forgot about this until just now, but a few weeks ago, I had a dream that I was your midwife and you were in labor and doing a homebirth. Isnt it weird what we dream about? LOL!

Do you happen to recall whether I was single?

Very cool.  I would be a very lucky lady to have you as a support/midwife person and would love to do a home birth.  Any plans to move East?

How are you?  How are the kids?  What is going on of late?

You were NOT single!!! In the dream, you had a wife and she was sooo sweet and very nervous and excited about the baby. I sooo wish I could move back East, but it's not in the cards. DH would move to Boston in a heartbeat, too, but the whole job thing. Bah. I'm working on my masters in midwifery now, so at least if I did move back and you have a baby (or another baby?) in a few years, I could be your midwife . Otherwise, I'd totally fly out there to be your doula in the meantime!

I'm great! Kids are great! Ellie just started preK and she's loving it. It's 5 half days a week in a fantastic public Montessori and we still cant believe we got in! I used to joke that I was glad we weren't back East because of the craziness of applying  to preshools, but lo and behold, our process here was very similar to what most of my friends in Boston and NYC had to do for preK. Haha!

So glad to hear everyone is doing well!  Where is the master's degree in the whole scheme of becoming a midwife?  Are you apprenticed after you get the degree?  I don't know much about the preK thing here; it is a joy I am not yet familiar with.  I imagine it will depend a lot upon whether I end up in Brookline or in Hamilton.

Any update on anything related to the egg donation?   

With any luck there would eventually be a second child a couple years after the first, so maybe your dream is a premonition of things to come.

I am well.  I got back from a vacation with gf about a week ago, then four days in court kicked me in the tush, so I am mostly just relaxing this weekend.  If I go for a run and clean the kitchen I will call it a success.
