So I took this fug 2 piece BM dress in for alterations. $130! The top part needs remade essentially. The skirt part needed taken in at the waist (that part made me feel good) and about a foot taken off the bottom. I am bitter.

I will never understand bridesmaids dresses. I told my bridesmaids to show up in a dress. They picked a colour and everyone picked their own. None of them ended up getting them from a bridal place. Ugh. Awful. I can't imagine.

LOL same here.  I only had a MOH though.  I told her "wear that dress I saw the pictures of you wearing to that thing you went to last year." lol

that is more than i spent on the alterations of my wedding dress--it just needed a 1/2 in. taken off the bottom and a loop for the "train."

My wedding dress was $399.  I just went in last week for my alterations and they were $319!  Almost as much as my dress!
