DS turns 1 in December and I was planning on doing a Winter "One"-derland themed birthday party. I was wondering if anyone did this for their LO's birthday and what ideas you had or if you had any pictures to share? TIA!

Here's DD's cake:

And the food table:

We did everything in blue, silver, and white and most everything was either snowflakes or snowmen.  All the food was winter themed (white chili, an ice cream bar, hot cocoa bar, etc).  I saved baby food jars and let the kids make their own snowglobes.

If the party is in Jan or Feb, hit the after Christmas sales for great deals on decorations.

Thanks! I love your party too! Unfortunately, I won't be able to hit the sales since his birthday and party is before Christmas. I was wondering about your hot cocoa bar. I would love to do this.  Did you make homemade cocoa or use the instant? Also how did you keep it warm during the party?
