Anyone else's area having massive sales this time of year? There was a HUGE one a few weeks ago and I made it to that one and made out like a bandit - $40 double stroller, tons of clothes. Went to a smaller one today, got C a kitchen and A a few outfits for less than $15. There's another huge one next weekend and I plan on finishing C's winter wardrobe and picking up some more clothing for A - if I need to.

I really think that this is turning into a problem. I try to make it the first day and the last day - when they mark everything 1/2 off. DH's going to kill me.

Very nice job, Totty! Almost everything that I've gotten for A thus far still has the tags on it - Carter's, Gap, Children's Place. My favorite steal for C is a GORGEOUS Children's Place sweater, tags on - for $2. I also got him some fabulous flannel lined Gap khakis ... I have all of this stacked in our bedroom and I HAVE to get it washed and put away. But I'm procrastinating, cause I know the pile's going to grow!

Love them. I've gone a little crazy with DD's clothes. Packed an 8-foot closet with stuff for the next year (mostly this fall/winter). All very cute, and I paid $1-3 for 95% of it. I'm kind of disappointed that we have to go visit BIL tomorrow AM and I'll miss a really big sale here. But I really have too much already, and there's several more coming up. I love cute bargains.

I live in a small town, too. Only, my small town (very, very rural), borders the county that contains Louisville - it works out well for me. I had no ideas that these things even existed until someone on a local board started posting the dates!
