Blue Penis

Ok, so DS's head of his penis is blue and has been for a while.  I thought this was normal but now I'm freaking out!  Please help!

Don't fret. Jacob's head is kind of purple-ish. From what I understand...totally normal.

ok don't freak out- but make sure there isn't a hair or anything wrapped around it. If not then it's probably just veins close to the skin.

is he super fair?  M is extremely fair-skinned, like mama, and the head of his penis is almost always blue or even purple.  i called the pedi at one point early on about it and they said it was normal.  then i showed the pedi at a well visit and he reiterated, normal.

but do check and make sure it's not cut off circulation as skimmy mentioned, just in case.  if all looks well, it is prob just a normal thing.

ditto.. both of my boys are super fair.. both of theirs are bluish/purplish.  totally normal.  once the redness from the circ goes away that's just what they look like.
