Oing late = bad??

I think I read in one of these posts that when you O late your egg is not as good?? Is this true? I will have a long cycle and FF has not yet confirmed that I have O'd. I dont wanna call the doctors office b/c they will probably just tell me my cycles will be wacky for a little while. But for the sake of becoming pregnant - does Oing late affect your chances???

I think that the only problem with Oing late is that there may not be enough time left in your cycle to allow for implantation, but if your whole cycle is longer, it is probably OK.  But that's just what I have gathered and may not be 100%

I didn't ovulate until CD 22 with this bfp and I was a little concerned. My dr. told me that if it's an older/bad egg then odds are that it won't get fertilized anyway so that made me feel better. I know that there are a lot of girls over on SAL that have had healthy pregnancies with a later O.  Maybe post this over there to get some more input?  GL!
