...what was the progression? When did you/they start to feel better?. It'll have been 3 weeks on Sunday since DH got sick and the dr. said it takes a month to start feeling better, so is it reasonable to expect that by next weekend he'll be on the mend? So far he has seen no improvement...if anything the fatigue has gotten worse (I'm sure being less active only exacerbates this). He told me when I was home at noon that he got winded just changing Cal's clothes!
Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!

Re: If you/someone you love had mono...
I had mono in my 2nd year of college and had to withdraw from the semester. I got it at the end of Sept and was FINALLY better by Christmas. It took forever.?
I hope your DH feels better soon. Mono sucks - but at least you know what it is now. ?
From what I've read, it can vary so much from person to person. DH came around fairly quickly. I'd say he was only really down and out for about three weeks before going back to work and resuming normal activities (though he did take it easy, didn't go back to the gym right away, went to bed earlier). All of this happened in late June and now he seems fine, though I think it can take awhile for the virus to completely go away.
