Are you buying LO a snowsuit?

We live in MI, and the snow gets a little crazy here. DD stays home, but I'm wondering if I should get her a snowsuit or not. We want to take her out in the snow, but I don't know how much use she'll get out of it. I could just pick up a cheap on from Old Navy. Any cold weather mommies getting their child one?

I'll probably get one from a consignment store or look for one at a yard sale.

I had bought DD a winter coat with snow pants this past spring when there was a massive clearance sale at Kohls, but I think the snow pants are going to be too long.  I saw a nice Columbia snowsuit the other day that I am thinking about getting her.  If I want her to be able to go outside and play in the snow and go for sled rides, she will need something.  It is REALLY cold here and we have had alot of snow the last couple of winters.  I don't think I really helped you..did I...sorry.

I totally did.  I bought it at the Salvation Army.  They had soooo many that were hardly worn.  It is totally needed here.

I'd like to. But like you say, I don't see spending big $$ on it, since most of his "outside" time will just be between the car and daycare or the car and target or whatever.  I'll check pricing at ON and at the consignment stores and things. it'll be tough to find anything that fits him, for sure.  (Also, the kid basically refuses to wear shoes, so winter will be interesting already.)

I will.  I bought her one last year.  The pants matched her winter coat that she wore all the time.  They were only $12.99 at Target.

I stay at home, and we spend at least an hour each day outdoors, so yes.  I'm hoping the local consignment shop will come through for me.

yep!  we got one last year too.  I thought it would be irresponsible to leave him at home while DH and I went sledding.
