NTR: If you have dark circles under your eyes

I'm talking genetic dark circles, not necessarily "I haven't slept" dark circles. What do you use to cover them up? I'm curious what works for people and if anyone has tried that yellow concealer from Physician's Formula. I use mineral makeup, which I love, but I need something for my dark circles. TIA

  • I have a foundation/concealer that I use( Mary Kay), but I really only use it when we have an event or special occasion to go to and I just suck it up for the everday type thing and don;t bother putting anything on. I really shoudl start using somethign everyday though because I know that it would make me seem more "awake" and 'alert".

  • I use the Neutrogena yellow concealer on a daily basis.

I could not live without it!

    I like privacy. A lot.

I use this too.  I get so sick of people telling me I look tired.  Well, I am tired but my eyes look like this because it's just how I look.

  • I have Cover Girl stick concealer that I use daily. It works well!

Sometimes I feel like it doesn't work and I still look "tired" so I do half my face so I can see how much difference there is - makes me feel better. lol

  • I have a blue vein running under one eye right under the surface of my skin.  The best thing I have found to make it look less obvious is a light-reflecting concealer.  Right know I use the Clinique Airbrush pen, but Clarins and Estee Lauder have the same thing (all the same company), there's the YSL Touche Eclat; numerous other ones are on the market from various brands.  They all work the same but Clinique is less expensive so I will probably stick with that.  Anything that doesn't have the light-reflecting particles requires me to put more on to get a camoflauging effect and then it looks cakey.  I paint the concelar on after foundation, dab it around and then powder over it.

  • SFL.  I use a yellow concealer from Maybelline and I'm not thrilled with it.  I also use mineral makeup (not Bare Minerals) and I'm not thrilled with it either...thinking I might bite the bullet and try and the Bare Minerals.

And yeah, BOO to people always telling me how tired I look.  My MIL was really great about that.

  • Hah hah..I am actually putting on make up RIGHT now (DD is sleeping and I put on my makeup when I nest...) and I'm using Physicians Formula yellow for my undereye circles.

I think it really works well.  I like the ease of it and how creamy the formula is.  Using a stick is better than using a wand.

  • Abbott's Perk Me Up concealer from Everyday Minerals.  Best stuff ever.

Me too. I used to use Max Factor Erase concealer, but now I can't find it anywhere. The Cover Girl works almost as well.
