eating off the floor

DS throws his food off his chair and screams when he is finished eating.  I clean him up and help him down. Before I can even clean up the floor he begins to eat the food he threw moments earlier.  My oh My! What a silly boy! Thankfully, I just mopped the floor!

  • Oh yes, DS does this too.  I am not sure how it tastes any different off the floor, but apparently it does.  He also will eat more off my plate, even if it is the same thing he was eating in his chair.  But at the end of the day I am just happy he is eating Smile
  • DD prefers her food off the floor.  I'll just never forget how mortified I was during mommy baby yoga when I went over to get her from the other side of the room and found her noshing on a piece of dirty bread of unknown origin.  And I mean she was chowing down...Ick!

oh yes, DS likes to eat off my plate too! always cracks me up!

  • My dd does this all the time but I confess that she usually finds a dried pea or carrot from the day before stuck in some corner too and just spits it out.  ha.
  • Yup. DD does this as well. It doesn't help that my mom likes to give treats to the cat. My mom says, but it's on a plate. Ick! But the plate is on the florr & the cat ate off that plate.
