MOMS: Is gymboree clothing true to size?

I want to place an order online but not sure what to do about the size.

DD is 7months and is probably 18-20lbs

Should I do 6-12 or 12-18?

I ask because most of the sizes that she should fit her tend to be small..so I usually have to go up a few...

i think it totally depends on the height too. DS is 30.5in at 9 months and is already in 12-18m, but he's only 20lbs, 14oz. is there a size chart on the website? i know the boys 6-12 only goes up to 29 inches.

I was there yesterday as a matter of fact. I scored big time!

ginny is tall and we ended up with a lot of 12-18 and 18-24. dresses and sweaters tend to run big. pants are very long but too tight in the butt. I think you'd be ok with 6-12.

there isn't a store near you? they were having an amazing sale.
