Pregnant & Factor V/Protein C Deficiency

Another exciting pregnancy on my hands! Found out I have this blood clotting disorder. I will need to see my OB, Hematologist, and Perinatologist thru the whole pregnancy. Last time I had pre-e and had to have an emergency c/s. My doc says that this condition can actually cause pre-e so I am hoping I don't have it again! And I have to inject myself with Heparin every day...not fun!

    My sister found out she had this with her third child.  She didn't find out until mid to late pregnancy when she had a clot in her leg.  She has a beautiful 5 year old girl now and everything went fine.
