No - Jack won't get any flu shots - regular or otherwise - nor will I. DH probably will get a regular flu shot although possibly not as he did last year and then still got the flu. Up to him.
Wheee!

We always get flu shots. I'm a teacher and DS goes to daycare. We all have allergy/asthma issues in the house and we will have a newborn who can't get the immunizations come November.......so yes, we will all be getting the shots.......as will be my mom and my IL's who will be spending time around the new baby when he/she arrives!
I will get one, and push DH to get one as we are both healthcare workers. not sure if we will get the swine flu shot, I'm thinking yes for us.
As far as DD, I was planning on getting her the flu shot but is she too little?? We are definitely not getting her the swine flu shot, I am too nervous about such a new vaccine...although technically the regular influenza vaccine is kinda new every year too. Ugh.
Without a doubt Jacob will be getting both the regular and swine flu shot. There is no question. Additionally, DH and I will be contacting our PCP to get both shots for ourselves. This is very important to us. We have done a lot of research and are confident that this is the right decision for our family.
DS has already gotten round 1 of the flu shot (booster to come in october) and DH and i will also get one. hopefully so will most people he spends time with. but, he's a preemie, so that changes things a little.
we have decided we will follow our peds recommendations regarding the swine flu shot. DS, between daycare and a ton of cousins, has a lot of contact with school age children.
we also have to be extra careful with everything this year because he won't be getting the RSV shots anymore.
Yes dd will be getting both the regular flu shot and the H1N1 if my pediatrician recommends it. She will be in daycare and I think that the benefits outweigh the risks.
I don't think so, isn't it six months they have to be? He just missed the cutoff for RSV and he won't be in daycare and we have no other children. I'm trying my best b/c he's a preemie to make sure people wash hands/sanitize and don't hold or touch him if they are sick.
Our miracle IVF baby - D 6/09 & J - Surprise! born 9/10!!!
We won't be doing either shot for baby or ourselves.
My friend is a pharmacist and says that there really is no benefit to it, unless you are someone with a weakened immune system or are continually around sickly people (nurses, teachers etc).
DS will definitely get the flu shot--not sure about the swine flu shot. I'm a teacher so I'll get both and my DH will too just to be safe. Ben is not in daycare so maybe we'll just keep him home this winter.
