xp- anyone w/ built in microwave? can't find power source...

we have a jenn air microwave that is built into the cabinets above the oven (also built in). It has suddenly died & I have no idea how to troubleshoot before calling a repairman. I tried to google & the only thing I could find was that some models supposedly plug in within the actual oven but I looked in ours & don't see anything like that.I also looked in the cabinet above it & can't find a plug there either.  Any ideas? Thanks!

    Ours has a plug in the cabinet above it. ?Have you checked your breaker box? ?It's possible the switch is tripped. ?Good luck!

    Ours is in the cupboard above. Maybe they ran it behind the wall down behind the stove and plugged it in to that outlet?

    Plug for mine is in the cabinet above - so if you open that cabinet you can see the cord and the plug.  They may have put your outlet behind the micro and plugged it in there - hence your not being able to see it (and if that's the case - they did it wrong - it should be plugged into an accessible outlet.)

    Thanks all...!!! 

    we never found hte plug but MH went to make coffee the morning & the coffee maker (which is on the other side of the kitchen, totally different wall, nowhere near the micro) was also off so he hit the reset button on that outlet & voila- the microwave came back on. WTH? I'm just glad it got figured out.
