FreeCreditReport.com ripped me off several years ago!!! I didn't read the fine print (or now it's the fast low mumbling voice on the commercial) that says "offer applies with enrollment in Triple Advantage" or whatever their program is called. I was charged $80 and didn't realize. That was my fault for not cancelling before the "trial" was over. Then I DID call and cancel...and they charged me AGAIN a year later! When I tried to call again I never could get anyone to answer their phone. When I finally did they sent me a refund after several months. Guess what...it happened yet again the next year!! I think I ended up finding a bunch of complaints about them online. I had to close my checking account so they couldn't do it again.
This is the one through the government that you can check all 3 credit bureau's once a year for free. Well, your credit reports are free at each one, you have to pay $7 or $8 to check your score.
