I need help real quick

I watch a 4 month old out of my house.  He feels warm and is super fussy.  I took his temperature under his arm.  When I worked at a preschool, we were instructed to add a degree for when you took it in the armpit.  Is this true for babies?

Yes...that's still true.

The hospital and our Pedi take it under the arm and they take it as whatever the thermometer says.

Is a temperature of 100 worrisome?

Temps over 100.4 are considered a fever.  DS's temp is almost always 99.4-99.7; some babies (and adults) are just warmer than others.

Thanks so much ladies.  I'm just extra concerned bc both his mom and dad are sick.
