does 99.7 mean sick?

this is stupid im sure but DH is just getting over a double ear & sinus infections and DD has a temp of 99.7. Does this mean anything? she also has been a little fussy and DH says she sounds a little congested but I dont hear it. wasnt sure if I should give her tylenol or just see how she does on her own.

I'd wait a bit to give her anything.  If it gets above 100 I would give her Tylenol.  Definately keep an eye on her.

My pedi said 100.4 is the threshold (I think).

I don't think so.  When DS was a newborn, hospital and pedi said call if temp is 100.3+  I would wait before giving tylenol.

If you are taking her temprature rectally my pede said you always subtract 1 degree. He said that the rectal temprature is always one degree higher.
