My 2 month old has acid reflux. The good thing is that she doesn't throw up every feed, but averages about 2 throw up and they're not just spit up...they're pretty up her entire bottle. Her pediatrician recommended putting rice cereal in her formula. I noticed that she eats less. Without rice cereal she eats 2-2.5 oz and with the cereal she'll eat 1.5 oz. Before giving her the rice cereal, I had asked her pedi whether she'll still eat the same amount or less and her pedi said she should eat the same amount. I am thinking she is going to eat less b/c she gets fuller faster. Have any of you guys experienced this? I'm debating about continuing to give rice cereal to her.

We use Enfamil AR (has broken down rice starch to make it thicker), have you tried that? You'll need a faster nipple and it shouldn't affect how much your LO eats. Ours ate more.
