I refuse to dress my boys in sleeveless shirts or tank tops. Maybe it's b/c I live in the south, but I think it looks trashy. Flame away.

I think they look trailer trashy.  Or like Nascar race apparel.

Which, nothing against Nascar, I like it fine.  I just don't think it's a good example of "what to wear."  More like, "what not to wear."

I hate them too.  No tanks, muscle shirts, etc or anything for boys.  Looks like crap.  Very trashy.  Brooke however, has taken to wife-beaters lately.  I bought them for Ethan for bedtime thinking he'd like to wear a "daddy shirt" to bed too but he wants ntohing to do with them and Brooke won't take them off.

I agree. DS got one muscle shirt as a hand me down, so I put it on him once. He didn't even wear it the whole day. Way too hillbilly for me. It went to the thrift store last week.

In five years ds has owned ONE sleeveless shirt. He wore it exactly once and then it was given away, LOL.

I am going to ditto. Miles has sleeveless undershirts for in home use only! I didn't buy them.

gosh I'm really going to be on the low end of the stick here, because my son wears sleeveless shirts most of the summer :-p

Um...my son has a few of them that he got for his birthday.  They're good new shirts so not throwing them away.

I TOTALLY agree with you.  I hate, hate, hate the way it looks.  Men, boys, what have you, should not wear sleeveless shirts.

I don't mind them either. Granted, I don't have a DS, but DD wears tanks during the summer. I don't see why boys should always have to wear sleeved shirts. I think they only look trashy if they're dirty or stained.
