Starting to feed DS cereal tonight

Any tips?  I am kind of nervous but I think he's ready.

At his 2 month visit he told me I did not have to wait for his 4 mo. visit (which is in 2 weeks) to start him on rice cereal.

Wow, that's crazy!  I know all doctors are different, but I've never heard of starting a baby on solids any earlier than four months.  We put a little rice cereal in DS's bottles to help with reflux, and all I can tell you is be prepared for seriously different poop, and soon!

Ya, totally not excited about solid food poop.  It's weird because every woman I talk to who is 50-60 tells me thier child ate ceral at 3 weeks and they were feeding them pureed table food at 2 months.  They can't believe I have not fed him solids yet.  I was starting to get sick of the "You're crabby because you want cereal" remarks.  Annoying!
