Babies: 0 - 3 Months

I didn't think I'd cry...

but I sure did.  DS has his 2 mo check up and shots today. All along I knew I'd be fine since I'm a pretty practical person and I know that babies have very big reactions to even mild discomfort and that the shots were good for him.

Didn't matter.  I saw his happy face turn into a scream instantly and tears started falling from my eyes! The nurse was nice and just left right when she was done so I could hug and love my babe while we both recovered. So sad!!

Now he's closing in on 3 hours for his nap. I must say - I needed one, too!

  • I am NOT looking forward to this next week.  It's going to hurt me more than him!

  • Aw, I can totally relate - I bawled when DD had her shots too!  They are troopers though =)
  • Oh yes, I am fully prepared to cry too.  I can not take his "Mommy, I'm hurting" scream/cry.  Good thing DH comes to all the appts because I'm going to be a wreck.  I plan to immediately BF him after.

ETA: He has his 6 week shots next week and we're doing 2 then coming back for the other 2 the next month.  We're doing the same for the 4 month shots too.
