snotty nose - - help!!

Kayleigh has had a snotty nose for over a week now.
Yesterday, she started throwing up ( ALL OVER US).... I "think" its b/c the mucus is getting into her tummy.
I'm going to call the pedi's office as soon as it opens. But I don't want to be "that mom" that calls for every snotty nose. I know its allergies b/c I've had the same problems. But I can take something and I don't know what to do to help her feel better.
She doesn't act sick BUT yesterday she wasn't her normal self.
I don't want to over react but I feel like she is sick and I can't help her.
Running on fumes.... I had to call and tell work I wasn't coming in b/c I didn't get much sleep.

she probably has a cold. I took DS in a few weeks ago, snotty nose, congestion...the pedi said it was just a cold and there wasnt much I could do.  Run the humidifier and prop up the mattress.

i thought it was allergies too but the pedi said at this age allergies are in the form of rashes...

DD has been going through this for the past week also.  Like PP said, the pedi can't really do much for a cold and they're too young to take cold medicine.  Try clearing her out w/ the bulb syringe.  I feel your pain!
