Back to work tomorrow :(

I teach first grade and I LOVE my job, but I don't want to go back to work! We have a ton of kids out with swine flu and I don't want M to get sick. Most of all, though, I will miss all my snuggles while wearing her around the house all day. How am I going to be able to teach while crying all day? I am gonna miss my little bird!

    I teach as well and I am soooo sad to return to work. I kept thinking that the day was so far off, but now it's here and I've been crying all day. To top things off, my DS won't even latch on to nurse today and it just added to my sadness. I am not excited about leaving my little guy behind and not snuggling him, too. At least we have a 1/2 day tomorrow, so I guess that's better than a full one!

    I feel your pain!  I'm a teacher too and had to go back wed-fri last week and it was so incredibly hard I cried my head off every day!  Mainly in the morning when I left and then in the car on the way home but wed there were tears through most of the day!

    Tomorrow's my first day back with students - I teach boys with emotional/behavioral problems, it'll be interesting!

    Bring lots of pictures and just keep thinking about the fact that you're working to make her life better!  (that's what I'm telling myself as I sit here crying thinking about leaving in the morning!)

    i'm in the same boat as the rest of you. i didn't really yhink it would bother me as much as it does right now as he's asleep on me right now.

    I am going to work tomorrow (first day) but then I have 11 weeks off.  Good luck teachers!!

    I'm also a teacher and I have been back nearly a month.  It was very hard the first week, but now its a lot easier.  There are days I miss DS more than others, but I know I have to work in order to provide for him.

    I start back tomorrow too! And I don't want to go! I'm a RN and work 12 hour nights, so it's going to be a challenge to say the least! I've already prepared myself for the waterworks!
