4 Month Constipation

Any ideas how to fix this for poor little DS??  I am a bit anemic and need to take iron and it seems to be causing him problems.  I seem to remember my dr. saying to give water and sugar if he is constipated, but this seems crazy to me any one else heard of this??

I give my constipated boy 2 oz of sunkist prune juice mixed with 1 oz water, but we built up to that.  we started with a 1-1 ratio.

I give it to him before his bottle.  It works good, and it all natural.   I give it to him EVERY DAY to keep him regular.

You can do 1 tsp of Karo syrup (the light one) per 4 oz of breast milk/formula.

Our doctor said 1-2oz of prune juice a day if DS poop gets too firm, like hard little balls that will roll off the diaper.  He also said no need to dilute it.
