Can DS forget he likes the bottle?

We introduced the bottle to DS when he was a little over a week old and continued to use the bottle to supplement while I was BFing for a few weeks.  He had no problems with taking the bottle.  The last 2 weeks almost, I have been EBFing and haven't used a bottle at all.  Is there the possibility that if I don't use the bottle every once in a while, that if I decide later to FF that he will not take the bottle (even though he took it fine before)?

Yes. I have a friend whose baby would take a bottle just fine. She did not give him a bottle for a while, and when he was being watched by her mother, he screamed., Can you pump every now and then and give him a bottle?

Yes.  My best friend was EBF'ing her DD and gave her a bottle every now and then.  She then went on almost a month without giving her a bottle and since then she's never been able to give her a bottle again because her baby just wouldn't take it.  She searched high and low for different kinds of bottles to see if she would take any of them.  Nada.

Thanks for the responses ladies.  I will have to make sure that I start pumping so that he won't decide that he dislikes the bottle.
