does your 2yr old nap?

DD has always been pretty good about taking a nap but the last couple days she wouldn't go down. I'm going to try again tommorrow since we will be back to our normal routine. I hope naps aren't done with!!!

DD still naps about 1-2 hours, but at home she has been giving us a hard time about going down ever since she moved to a big girl bed.  At school however she usually naps each day,

Lily gave up naps a couple months ago.  I really miss them.

Most days she still naps. They're getting shorter, though. Often only 2 hrs. But she definitely needs them - she's a mess at the end of the day if she hasn't napped.

DD fought me really hard about going down for a nap when I forced her to nap, but she needs one desperately, or she's a terror.  Now, I make my bedroom really dark, we have a piece of fruit and watch one of her favorite shows -- she usually falls asleep during the show, if not, one more goes on and she's out in the first 5 minutes.  Works every time for us, thank goodness -- no fights either.
