DS is 11 weeks and is still feeding every 2 hours at the most during the day. Sometimes it's less then 2 hours. He will go for a 5-6 hour stretch at night and then goes back to 2-3 hours until morning.
Is he just making up for the longer stretch at night during the day?
I BF my 2 older girls and by this point they were going at least 3-4 hours between feedings and sleeping longer at night.
Just wondering when I'll get a longer stretch out of him. I'm a SAHM so it's not a huge problem I'd just like to feel like I'm not feeding him 24 hours a day. Some days I feel like this is all I do. I expect that with a newborn but at 11 weeks?
Re: Still feeding every 2 hours at most?
My son does exactly this at 14 weeks now... he nurses every 2 hours from 8am to 8pm... sleeps from 8pm till 2am and nurse.. then eats every 2 to 3 hours till 8am and starts all over for the day.
I definitely think he does it to make up for the long 6 hour stretch of sleep... and I'm happy to nurse often in the day to get some good sleep at night!!
