BM Pumping qs

I want to have a stash ready for LO everyday incase I need it to run out for something so my MIL can feed him if need be. I feed him about every 2-2.5 hrs so when should I pump? Should I pump after every feeding? or just a couple of times a day should be enough? and how much should i keep for him. My LO will be 2 months tomorrow.

I think pumping 1-2 times a day is plenty.  Before I went back to work I would pump after DS's morning feeding and after he went to bed each night.  I built up a nice stash that way.  At that age I think he would drink 3-4oz at a time, if I remember right.

I used to wait about an hour after the first morning feeding and then pump. If I had time I would pump again closer to noon.  I had a hard time pumping at night unless I was pumping in place of a feeding.

Can you just BF LO before leaving? I found that to be much easier than pumping and dealing w/bottles.
