Hubby and I are continuing to wait to find a match and do an embryo adoption. We hoped that we would not have to use an agency because of their high agency fees...We just can't afford it. I've posted everywhere and hoped and prayed but nothing seems to have come our way. I guess now we will look into posting on Miracles Waiting. Might do that this week. Time seems to be moving so slowly and my heart sinks more and more with each day that we don't hear anything. I am so blessed with my beautiful children but the desire to birth has never gone and I so deeply long to expierence it.

Re: Embryo Adoption
We are also open to building our family through donor embryos.
You might want to look into Cooper Institute in NJ. If you receive embryos through Cooper, you have to complete the whole procedure at their clinic, so you'd have to travel to NJ.
If you haven't already, check out the info on donor embryos, at resolve.org. Lots of good material to think / talk about with your hubby as you decide what kind of donor embryo relationship you want to persue - open or closed - and the laws (or lack thereof) surrounding donor embryo situations. So many choices in every step we take in this journey.
Good luck!
Just wanted to wish you luck on your journey and keep up the faith. We have a wonderful adopted son named Ben. We did IVF before we adopted and had 2 miscarriages. After we adopted Ben we donated our embryos through our IVF clinic who sent them to another IVF clinic a few states away. I didn't have any desire to go through any medical treatments again and being pregnant wasn't a priority for me. Have you looked into clinics? Maybe they might be cheaper.
BTW, you have a beautiful family. Good Luck!
also try embryos alive.org ? .com? too
We went to the Czech Republic for donor embryos and that's how we got the sweet little thing in my siggie. We went there because of the large bank or embryos just waiting for couples. Our 2nd IVF failed in mid-may and we were on a plane june 30th. The embies are created from donors, not IF couples so while they don't claim higher success rates, I liked that we wouldn't be passing down any IF issues. They did match some of our features, but their biggest matching point was our blood type. The procedure is pretty cheap (2k or so), but the time of year that you travel can drastically change the overall cost. Our dr in the US did our prep care and we were only in the clinic (Reprofit in Brno) for 1 hr. They don't offer much med history and that is the only downside I can see to going to Czech.
I'd be happy to tell you more if you're interested.
