Antihistamines and BF

I tend to get bad late summer/fall seasonal allergies that last until the first frost.  Gotta love the ragweed... (Thanks to pregnancy last year, my allergies were basically non existent!)

I mentioned something to the pedi, and she basically said I could take what I wanted (I think benadryl, zyrtec, claritin, etc.) without threatening my supply.  I'm nervous to take anything that will potentially dry me up!  Does anyone take any antihistamines without drying up?

I have taken Claritin every day since DD was born, and I switch to Zyrtec when my allergies gets really bad. Definitely drink more water on the days when you take something, but it should be ok. I've never noticed a problem at all.

Pregnancy made my allergies almost disappear too -- I wonder how or why that happens. It was so nice!

I've taken Zyrtec every day for the last 10 years.  I actually had an oversupply when DD was a newborn and had no real problems with supply.  She just finished nursing at 3 years 2 months.
