Can you take cold medicine while BF?

I'm dying here.  Total head cold and I want nothing more than to take Advil Cold & Sinus.  Is that something I can take while BF?  I'm still BF first thing in the morning and last thing at night.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as all the Dr.'s are closed and it's a holiday weekend!!!

The active ingredient in most cold medicines can dry up your milk. Can you try some home remedies, like hot lemonade with honey or using a neti pot?

I had a cold earlier this week and the pharmacist told me I could take sinus stuff.  She told me to get the CVS Sinus and Allergy.  It just like Benadryl except it doesn't have the sleepy side effects.  I called the OB help line at my doctors office and the nurse said it was fine to use.  No milk dry up issues and it was amazing!  It worked great.  I took it for 2 days and I feel 100% better.
