gift for a 4 year old?

Jumping over from 6-12 months, looking for a fun b-day gift for a 4 year old boy. any ideas? I don't know him very well, and it makes it difficult! Also, budget conscious, and since I don't know him very well, I need to be a little thrift about it! TIA!

Re: gift for a 4 year old?

  • cars, trucks, trains, legos, balls. I just got ds a fire truck that makes sounds at target for $20 (ds's bday is next week!!!) . He'll only be two... but this truck would be fun for a while.  supposed to be for over 3 y/o.  big. makes the siren noise when he pushes a button...  fun.

  • It's so hard when you don't know what they're into.  My DS is really getting into imaginative play so I was thinking for his 4th bday to get him so Playmobil sets.  Legos are a good idea too as he might be at an age for getting into the smaller ones and sets.  My DS loves books and movies too!  I wouldn't worry too much, go to Walmart/Target, and just make sure to get a gift receipt!

  • Oh and did you get a party invite?  If I have no idea, I usually go with that.  For example, if it's a Lightning Mcqueen party, get something along those lines.

At 4 he might be into superheroes as well.

    GL!
