TTC After a Loss

Have you had Nutella? NTTCALR (obviously)

When we were in Europe we had Nutella a lot in Germany

I have never allowed myself to buy a jar because my main diet idea is if it is not here I will not eat it.
Well I bought some, I like mine as a dip for apples or bananas
Dh just made a peanut butter & Nutela sandwich on white bread (also something we NEVER have but I needed it for a meatloaf recipe)

Anyways.... that sandwich is like a reeces pbcup sandwich
I only had a bite but WOW

sorry for sharing random info
G'night

Oh yeah now I remember why I was posting this
If you eat Nutella how do you eat it?
DH's idea seemed so bizarre but delish so I thought I may be missing other creative ways to eat it

I am going to make nutella croissants in the A.M. YUMMY in my tummy

  • I grew up eating Nutella, way before it was cool, when you still had to buy it at the ethnic grocery store. Anyway, I would mostly just eat it spread on bread by itself. Once in a while, I'd add bananas or something. All of the other kids at school thought I was weird, lol.

  • Hazelnuts are one of the healthiest nuts and some fertilty diets do teach incorporating nuts into the diet. So it can be TTC-related. Wink I've only had it once or twice, but I'd love to make a version of it myself at home.
  • I havent had it since I was a kid, and I dont remember really liking it.  Sounds like you do, though!  Please post the  reeces recipe!

OMG, that is sooo funny. Me too!!!! I've been eating it all my life. I find nutella best on fresh Italian bread. Yummm....

I found it at our local Publix supermarket here in Florida when we first moved down and I was soooo excited. It seems you can't get the stuff down here I used to get up in NY so I couldn't believe it when I saw Nutella!

  • PB & Nutella sandwiches are where it's at, man.  I LOVE those things.
  • OMG, I had Nutella almost every day while I lived in Turkey for 4 months a few years ago.  It was sooooooooooooooo good!!!  I gained like 10 pounds while I was there...and I thought I would LOSE weight from having to walk everywhere...nope. :-(   I mostly just ate it on the warm, homemade french bread that we bought every morning at the bakery on the first floor of the apartment building...  :::::mouth waters::::::

I want to go back!! :-)

  • I heart Nutella.  When I studied abroad in Paris, my friends and I would get a fresh baguette and a jar of nutella and devour it.  Oh and nutella crepes are AMAZING!
  • Love it!! DH melts it and uses it as a crepe filling and it is amazing. Also, don't underestimate dipping salty snacks like pretzels in it.

  • I eat it out of the jar with a spoon. Mmm! I love it with strawberries and whipped cream in crepes and also sometimes put it on cookies then make sandwiches. I heart nutella. I discovered it in French class my freshman year of high school. I used to go through a jar every 2-3 days (I ate it in classes, umm, oops?:)) but I don't eat it very often anymore. I do have a jar...::runs for kitchen::
  • I pink puffy heart nutella.  I just discovered tonight that if you melt it in the microwave it makes a fantastic topping for vanilla frozen yogurt,  But the best is on warm wheat toast.... YUM!

  • Nutella is awesome!!  So many ways to use it!!  I like to put a bit in a wonton wrapper and seal it and the deep fry it, a bit of powdered sugar.... yum yum!!
  • I ate it as a kid.  I do remember though that in grade 2, our teacher banned it from the classroom because it "wasn't healthy".

I eat it once in awhile at home now, but not often.  Just on bread.  Speaking of.................off to make a nutella sandwich.  Thx.
