PSA: car accidents with children in the car

I posted this earlier in another post but thought I should post it on it's own.  Put a sticker on your child's carseat with vital info about your child.  This is in case you get in a car accident and are unable to speak (or worse, God forbid).  The emergency workers will know who to contact about you and the child.  Some info I put on: child's name, date of birth, allergies, phone number besides yours of someone to contact in an emergency.

I just used regular address type labels that you can put through the printer but someone else was saying that there are actual labels you can buy.

It scares me to think that something would ever happen to me like that.

  • Great PSA! Just wanted to add: Your local Kiwanis Club has identification stickers that go on car seats. You can contact them to get some.

  • That is good to know about the Kiwanis Club.  Thanks!
