How much do you typically spend for your kid's friends' birthday parties?

$20-$25. More for closer friends, but never above $50

It depends on how close we are, but usually under $50. For casual friends, it's usually just about $10.

I stick to the $15-30 range.  The low end is for more acquaintance type friends, the high end for closer friends.

I stock up on stuff though during the target toy sale and the end of summer sale. I have one of these 3 tier shelf things in the basement that i store all sorts of toys on when they are on sale for super cheap. When birthdays and holidays roll around, i always have a large selection to choose from. It's also nice to have stuff on hand for ds. If he's being really good and we promise him a toy, we can grab something down there for him to have.
