Anyone have this? Likes/dislikes? I would like to gt a kitchen for my daughter for her birthday, have looked at several and would appreciate any thoughts/opinions. Thanks ladies.
I have the party time one which is very similar- just a little smaller. DS loves it. He plays with it almost every day. I love all the sounds- boiling water, frying pan sound, microwave, etc. DS thinks the sounds are hysterical. I don't know if yours comes with play food but mine didn't and I thought that was the only negative. I found something separately with 100 pieces of food which is more than ds will ever need. But Step 2 is holding up well and nothing has broken since we got it at Christmas.
This is the one I have
3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again
We got it for DD last Christmas and she looooooves it. I love how much storage it has - enough for all of her play food and dishes. She adores the over-sink light and phone. The sound effects are pretty minimal and quiet, which is nice. Setup was pretty easy - we did it in less than 2 hours and were taking our time.
The only downside is that the microwave is a little hard to open, but now that she's taller DD can do it by herself. I left off the top wallpaper border decal so it would be a bit more neutral.
I'm not sure how much time you have, but you might shop around a little. We found it last year for about $30 off and free shipping from step2.com.

Sounds like it's a winner! Thanks ladies. And thanks for the tip on the sale. Her birthday isn't until the beginning of November so I ahve some time to watch for a deal.
Re: Step 2 Lifestyle Deluxe Kitchen
We go it for DS when he was 18 months for Christmas, he just recently started playing with it and really seems to enjoy it!
