I never gave up and finally it's paying off. At four months old DS is finally latching and staying on more than a few seconds. It's amazing. He doesn't take the breast every time but we are slowly building on each day's progress. If you really want to breastfeed and are having issues don't give up.

Why does it scare you? I'd like to give you some reassurance about BFing, if I can.

I am so happy to read this. We are having a heck of a time (nipple confusion, due to supplementing at 3 days old) and I wasn't sure that he'd ever take the breast again.
I feel so guilty giving him BM through a bottle, but we keep trying!
