3 yr old with acne?

DS is having a break out of acne on his chin and under one eye.

At first I thought it was due to a week long heavy duty sun block exposure on our vacation but it's been a couple of weeks now and I really don't think that's it.

It's predominantly on his chin.

All I can think is... hormones.  And that's not right at age 3.

DH says it could be due to a recent crazy growth spurt he's had (growing inches before our eyes).

Anyone have an older kid with acne?

Did you see a doc?

Find a reason for it?

 

I just want to be sure there's not something wonky going on with his hormones that shouldn't be. 

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

    Even if it is just a reaction to... something.  It's still worth taking him in.  You need to put your mind at ease - especially re: any hormone issues.
