Please help me - I need to back up my photos on a CD/DVD

and my software is old and crashes.  What software do YOU use to do this?

Do you need them on CD?  I have much better luck with my 1 touch backup.  Much easier.  I do hard copies, kodak gallery (which you can order a backup CD from if you need it), and a Maxtor 1 touch.  I figure I have all my bases covered that way.

I have them backed up on an external hard drive but want to have a hardcopy too just in case.  Right now I really want to avoid spending money b/c we are trying to cut back but I will consider the 1 Touch in the future.  And there are so many pictures that have not been uploaded to any online sights...I need to really do that too.

I do not have hard copies, but we have an external hard drive and I also saved them al to a 16 gig flash drive and put them in a fire safe.  A friend of mine does that and puts it in a safe deposit box in the bank, adding another one every year.

Well, I feel stupid but the flash drive is a GREAT EASY solution!  If the newest software that I downloaded does not work, I will be doing that!
